1. Official Installation

Always download the application or extension only from the official site metamask.io. Never click it from Google Ads or unknown links in WhatsApp groups.

2. Seed Phrase: The Key to Your Vault

During setup, you will be given 12 secret words (Secret Recovery Phrase).

• The Golden Rule: Write them on paper and store them in a secure place (like a vault).
• The Hard Prohibition: Do not ever photograph them, store them in email, or share them with anyone—including the Whale’X team. Whoever possesses these words has full access to your funds.

3. Connecting to Networks

By default, Metamask is on the Ethereum network. However, for cost efficiency, we often use networks like Arbitrum or Polygon. In the VIP Circle, we help you configure these safely.
